I had my first appointment with Lauren over a year ago. My hair was so badly damaged from another salon and I thought my hair was passed the point of saving. Lauren has been amazing and so welcoming from day one. After lots of advice and treatments my hair has never looked and felt so healthy. And I’m so very grateful for everything. I love everything about this salon, the service and care they give to every customer is outstanding. Your my forever salon 😌

Lauren was very good and took a lot of care with me. My only comment is the colour was not as.bright as I would have liked but I will have a few more highlights perhaps next time. Thank you Pat La - Garde .

Nicola-Salon Owner

Nicola has been hairdressing since she was 16 years old, starting her career as an apprentice hairdresser in a local Newark salon many moons ago. After managing salons in Newark, Nicola decided in 2012 to create her own salon on the outskirts of the town centre and this is how The Hair Boutique was born. Nicola loves anything creative, from window displays to making floral creations that you'll see in the salon and her creative passion is found in hairdressing, in particular hair colouring. It's no secret that Nicola's favourite hair service is colouring, she loves all the technical science behind colouring and has been extensively trained at top academies by hairdressing experts.

Lauren- Salon Manager

Lauren has been with our team for over two years, she has over 11 years of experience in hairdressing and is very passionate about her creations. Lauren is an academy trained colourist and is an asset to our team, so much so that she is our salon manager. Lauren also loves cutting and blow drying, her blow drys are just superb! Lauren is an oracle of hair product knowledge, she loves all the technical details of each product and knows exactly how to offer the perfect advice to achieve healthy hair. A behind the scene fact about Lauren... Lauren writes the most extensive colour client notes we've ever seen, she likes to write every detail so that on the next appointment she has a full novel on the previous appointment, it really is quite remarkable! Lauren works in the salon on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Simone

Simone has been at The Hair Boutique for 10 years, her hairdressing career expands to 37 years of experience. Simone is a true perfectionist, her cutting skills are remarkable and this explains why some clients have followed her for 37 years. Simone has a lovely personality, friendly, professional, kind and she never fails to make the whole salon giggle with her humour & stories, she is an asset to our salon and most importantly to her clientele. Simone is a self-employed stylist and works in the salon on Tuesdays and Saturdays, to book an appointment with Simone please telephone the salon.

Leah

Leah is our newest stylist to join our team, Leah has relocated from Essex to Newark, bringing her nine years of hairdressing experience to our salon. Leah has a passionate approach to her hairdressing and oozes with professionalism. She specialises in colouring and cutting and really loves all the technical science behind hairdressing. Leah has gained so much confidence in colouring since joining our team, she has ran with the education and experience she has learned from our team. She has a natural flair for hairdressing that shines through with all of her creations, she really has grown so much with her hairdressing since having our teams nurture and experience behind her.
