Nicola-salon Owner

Nicola has been hairdressing since she was 16 years old, starting her career as an apprentice hairdresser in a local Newark salon many moons ago. After managing salons in Newark, Nicola decided in 2012 to create her own salon on the outskirts of the town centre and this is how The Hair Boutique was born. Nicola loves anything creative, from window displays to making floral creations that you'll see in the salon and her creative passion is found in hairdressing, in particular hair colouring. It's no secret that Nicola's favourite hair service is colouring, she loves all the technical science behind colouring and has been extensively trained at top academies by hairdressing experts. 

Lauren

Lauren has been with our team for over a year, she has over 10 years of experience in hairdressing and is very passionate about her creations. Lauren is an academy trained colourist and is very excited to expand her colour career within our colour specialist salon. Lauren also loves cutting and blow drying, her blow drys are just superb! Lauren is an oracle of hair product knowledge, she loves all the technical details of each product and knows exactly how to offer the perfect advice to achieve healthy hair. A behind the scene fact about Lauren... Lauren writes the most extensive colour client notes we've ever seen, she likes to write every detail so that on the next appointment she has a full novel on the previous appointment, it really is quite remarkable! Lauren works in the salon on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Simone

Simone has been at The Hair Boutique for 9 years, her hairdressing career expands to 36 years of experience. Simone is a true perfectionist, her cutting skills are remarkable and this explains why some clients have followed her for 36 years. Simone has a lovely personality, friendly, professional, kind and she never fails to make the whole salon giggle with her humour & stories, she is an asset to our salon and most importantly to her clientele. Simone is a self-employed stylist and works in the salon on Tuesdays and Saturdays, to book an appointment with Simone please telephone the salon.

Rebecca

Rebecca started her hairdressing career as an apprentice hairdresser 15 years ago, like all of the The Hair Boutique team, Rebecca too has found a real passion for hair colouring, she always has a thirst to learn new skills, techniques and grow as a colourist/stylist. Rebecca is a very caring and conscientious stylist. she's usually the first to arrive to the salon to prepare herself for the day ahead. She is a very confident and skilled hairdresser and this shows in her hairdressing creations, her clients all comment on how lovely Rebecca is and how happy they are with their hair. Rebecca is a key cog in our salon and a much valued team member. Rebecca is a self-employed stylist and works in the salon on Wednesdays and Thursdays

Emily

Our amazing Saturday Assistant Emily, we don't know what we would do without Emily on Saturdays. Emily literally runs around after everyone on Saturdays, she is such a lovely person and all of our clients comment on how professional and friendly Emily is. We just love our Emily.

Charlotte

Charlotte is our newest stylist to The Hair Boutique and has many many years of hairdressing experience to bring to the team. Charlotte is a mum to daughters and enjoys spending her time off with her family. We are super excited to see her career progress within the The Hair Boutique.

Rupert

Rupert is our salon therapist with 18 months experience, he only works in the salon from time to time as he is a very busy boy. He welcomes all clients with a friendly hello and a very waggy tail. He loves to give a cuddle and the odd lick now and again, but he will happily fall asleep anywhere near where Nicola is working.
